WRITING

Writing isn’t about putting words on a page. It’s about discovering ideas, exploring history, and shaping stories until they feel inevitable.

Whether historical fiction or fantasy, every book begins with curiosity and is finished through persistence.

MY WRITING

Every story begins with a question. Sometimes it is sparked by a moment in history, sometimes by an unexpected idea, and sometimes by wondering, “What if?” Whatever the source, I enjoy following that question wherever it leads.

I write across historical fiction and fantasy, but my approach remains much the same. Every project begins with research, careful planning, and a willingness to rewrite until the story feels both natural and inevitable. The first draft is only the beginning; the real craft lies in shaping characters, refining dialogue, and finding the rhythm that allows a story to come alive.

Writing is a journey of discovery as much as creation. Each book teaches me something new, and I hope that readers find not only an enjoyable story but also ideas, places, and people that remain with them long after the final page has been turned.
